Event Vendors at the Uncorked Wine & Music Festival

2024 Featured Artist: Nick Arbogast

Nick Arbogast grew up in Nebraska, where he fell in love with art and cycling. These passions brought him to Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, where he joined the collegiate cycling team and pursued a degree in Graphic Design. Nick recently opened up Verde Design, a business offering website & logo design, marketing services, and custom artwork. Throughout college, Nick would visit Lake City every few months with his girlfriend, Sophia Borchers. During the summers, Nick lived and worked in Lake City at the Silver Spur & Bushwack Lodge. He spent time backpacking, mountain biking, rafting, and deeply enjoying the mountains. This past year, Nick finished the Alpine 50 mountain bike race, which he describes as one of his favorite accomplishments.

This year’s Wine & Music artwork is inspired by the breathtaking natural beauty surrounding Lake City. Nick incorporated all five fourteeners stretching behind Lake San Cristobal, surrounded by native wildflowers found in the area. This watercolor painting aims to have the same sense of peace and serenity that Nick has found in the San Juan Mountains encompassing Lake City.
